Why Couples Trust Me With Their Wedding Day

Your wedding day moves fast. Emotions are high, timelines shift, and moments happen once. When couples choose a wedding photographer, they’re not just choosing a style, they’re choosing someone they trust to stay calm, adapt, and capture what actually matters.

Where It Started (2021–2022)

Before weddings, I was in film school, shooting cars and personal work, and learning the fundamentals—light, composition, and how to tell a story visually. In 2021, I photographed two small, low-budget weddings that completely changed how I looked at photography.

Those days were real. Real people, real pressure, and moments you don’t get a second chance at. That was the first time photography felt bigger than just making something look good.

In 2022, I booked my first surprise engagement on my own. Jon reached out, trusted me, and put me in charge of documenting a moment that meant everything to them. That experience pushed my confidence forward fast and made it clear this was something I wanted to pursue seriously.

Around that same time, I also had the chance to second shoot video for a friend in the industry. We were both early in our careers, learning on the fly, and that wedding taught us a lot about working with real timelines, real expectations, and real responsibility.

Growing Through Proposals (2024)

In August of 2024, I started working with THE ONE STUDIO, photographing surprise proposals all over South Florida. Over time, I photographed more than 40 of them, and every single one was different.

Surprise proposals move fast. There’s no warming up and no second chance. You have to read the situation immediately, stay out of the way, and be ready for whatever reaction comes next. Some people laugh, some cry, some freeze, some do all three at once.

That experience forced me to get better quickly. I learned how to anticipate emotion instead of chasing it, how to communicate clearly without interrupting the moment, and how to guide couples while keeping things fun and natural even when nerves are high.

Shooting proposals pushed my confidence, posing, and communication forward in a real way. Those same skills show up on wedding days, where moments happen once and you have to be ready before they do.

Learning Inside Real Wedding Timelines

While photographing proposals, I also had the opportunity to second shoot with Samantha Farmer Photo & Film, working alongside experienced professionals on full wedding days. I assisted on two wedding films as a second-shooter and photographed one wedding as a second photographer.

Those weddings taught me things you can’t learn anywhere else:

  • How a wedding day should flow

  • How to work within a real timeline

  • How to communicate with couples when time gets tight

  • How to prioritize moments when plans change

Working under seasoned professionals helped me understand how to balance creativity with structure, so couples don’t feel rushed or overwhelmed.

Experience That Puts Couples First

Not every wedding runs perfectly on schedule, and that’s okay.

I’ve seen weddings where things needed to be adjusted on the fly. In those moments, my focus is always on what matters most: keeping couples present and relaxed. Some of the happiest weddings I’ve photographed weren’t about doing everything—they were about being fully there with family and each other.

My job is to:

  • Keep the day moving without stress

  • Step in with direction when it’s needed

  • Step back when moments speak for themselves

  • Make sure nothing important is missed

Helping Couples Feel Comfortable on Camera

Most couples tell me they’re nervous, shy, or sometimes even uncomfortable in front of the camera. And Im here to tell you that, that’s completely normal. I focus on creating an environment where couples can breathe, laugh, and be themselves. I guide posing clearly, explain what I’m looking for, and keep things moving so nothing feels awkward or forced. As long as you are happily in love with each other, the pictures WILL come out amazing✨

Where I’m At Now

Because of these experiences, I’ve continued photographing weddings and engagements while growing intentionally. I’m currently booking weddings for 2026 + 2027 and beyond, and as my wedding work continues to build, I’m becoming more selective about the stories I take on, making sure each couple gets the attention and care they deserve.

What Couples Can Expect

When you book me as your wedding photographer, you’re getting someone who is:

  • Calm and easy to be around

  • Clear in communication

  • Thoughtful and prepared

  • Focused on real moments, not forced one

I care deeply about the people I photograph and the trust they place in me.

Let’s Start With a Conversation

Every wedding is different. Trust doesn’t come from numbers—it comes from intention, consistency, and showing up when it matters.

If you’re looking for a wedding photographer in Miami or South Florida who values connection, presence, and honest moments, I’d love to hear your story.
